Missions 101

Overview

This foundational course introduces students to the biblical, historical, and practical basis of Christian missions. It explores God’s redemptive plan for all nations, the Great Commission mandate, and the believer’s role in advancing the gospel across cultural, social, and geographical boundaries.

Students will study the mission of God (Missio Dei) from Genesis to Revelation, discovering how Scripture reveals a global vision of salvation. The course also examines the history of missionary movements, modern strategies for evangelism and church planting, and the importance of cross-cultural sensitivity and Spirit-led service.

By the end of the course, participants will understand that missions is not just for a select few but for the entire Church—every believer living on mission with God.
