About Andy
Dr. Andy Yarborough is a licensed clinical psychologist (PsyD) based in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana area, who brings a holistic, faith-integrated approach to mental health care. After completing his postgraduate training at Louisiana State University, he became licensed in 2011. He founded The Well Clinic in 2015 alongside his wife, Melody, where he works with individuals, families, and groups—particularly focusing on pastors, church leaders, missionaries, and others who serve in high-stress roles.
At the core of his work is the integration of biopsychosocial-spiritual elements, combining trauma-informed clinical practices (such as EMDR and coaching psychology) with soul care and spiritual formation. He is the host of the podcast My Well Lab with Dr. Andy Yarborough, where he shares insights on leadership, mental health, and holistic wellness with the goal of guiding people into “hope, wellness, and life.”
Dr. Yarborough emphasizes that mental wellness is not merely the absence of illness, but the presence of resilience, purpose, and integration of mind, body, and spirit. His approach supports those feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or called to serve—helping them build sustainable rhythms of health and leadership.
